Johny Ritter is an Austrian actor with an international focus.

 

He began his creative career in filmmaking, writing and producing his own work before shifting his focus fully to acting. His performances are grounded in instinct, emotional clarity, and a strong connection to character.

 

Alongside his artistic work, he spent several years in the Austrian film and cultural sector, including as a festival director and within human rights–focused initiatives. This experience continues to inform his perspective on storytelling and collaboration.

 

His short film On Waking Up screened internationally and received multiple festival awards and nominations.

 

Johny is currently training and developing new work while expanding his presence between Europe and Los Angeles.
